Manasseh: Haub School Field Notes
Meet Manasseh. She is pursuing her MFA in creative writing at the University of Wyoming with a double major in environment and natural resources from the Haub School. She describes her incredible thesis project blending her fields of study. With funding from a Haub School Creative Activities Grant, as well as from several other sources at the University of Wyoming, Manasseh spent two summers hiking, skiing, and camping on glaciers from Alaska's Kenai Peninsula, through British Columbia and Alberta, to Montana and Wyoming. Her travels let her explore these worlds of ice first hand, interview scientists and other experts, and share her experiences through prose. Her creative writing thesis tells the story of her travels and helps people connect to and understand these wild places.
