BioLix Team - Sustainable production of biotechnological phosphated fertilizers.
WE CREATE CONDITIONS CONDUCIVE TO LIFE! JOIN US!#BIOMIMICRY The increasing rate of human population on the planet demands a need for increased food production. For this, the necessity of increasing productivity and large-scale production emerges through the increased use and reliance on production and utilization of fertilizers, which are produced in a chemical route and generates a number of negative consequences to the planet (eg generation of industrial waste, surface and groundwater contamination, food contamination by heavy metals resulting in a cumulative contamination to human beings, etc). Therefore, the following dilemma arises: how to meet the need for food of the population in order to eliminate the negative consequences of the current route (sulfuric) production of fertilizers? Thus, the present challenge is to increase agricultural productivity through a systemic route of production of biotechnological fertilizer in a sustainably and large-scale production. This new route, besides eliminating the industrial wastes generated in the conventional route, does not contaminate the available water resources, etc., and improves the fertilizer efficiency use in agriculture, since extends the plant absorption by the same amount of chemical fertilizer.Team:ALBERTO COPPEDÊ JR- Geologist (1973); MSc in Geotechnical Engineering (1989), researcher, project coordinator and consultant in the areas of: design engineering and process engineering to recover losses of mining processes phosphate ores.
