Access America: This is My YEAR!
The Michigan Department of Natural Resources and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation awarded DNMM with a grant to facilitate a youth employment and recreation program in the city of Saginaw. DNMM, in partnership with several area agencies and non-profits, employs 90 young people, ages 16-19. During the summer, eligible youth will spend 20 hours per week participating in pre-employment training, career planning, leadership, skill building, work experiences, current events & issues discussions, and outdoor recreational opportunities.
