During an outbreak, the support and collective effort of many health care partners, including local providers, is essential for an expedient response that is consistent across the state and nation. It is crucial for health care partners to be able to accurately recognize and diagnose emerging infectious disease threats and understand their roles and responsibilities related to reporting these diseases. The intent of this webcast is to ensure that providers are updated on emerging infectious disease threats, ensure their practices have a standardized approach toreporting infectious diseases to local health departments and to know where to access resources to maintain reporting compliance.
