#1 SMC Super Takumar 50mm f/1.4 & Canon 600D - Guillaume LANGEVIN
First very quick test of my new old lens: the Asahi Pentax SMC Super Takumar 50mm f/1.4Even on a Canon 600D, this lens is amazing! For 150$, you've got detailed and sharp images, great 80's manufacturing, a real cinematic look…Shot @ f/1.4 in low light conditions (except the end of the video), with Technicolor Cinestyle LUT, no tripod used, just a few stabilisation on FCPX. I also used the X3 crop-sensor function on the Canon 600D, so the 50mm (80mm APS-C) become a 150mm (240mm APS-C). Interesting function to keep the same lens on the camera, but without tripod and any stabilisation, 150mm is maybe too much.Workflow: FCPX (for brightness adjustments and stabilisation); Neat Video (Denoiser plugin); no color correction.
